Work Social (“Work Social”, “we”, “us”) runs the coworking space at 648 SW Port St Lucie Blvd, Port St Lucie, FL 34953 and the website www.worksocialpsl.com. This policy explains what information we collect from members, day pass guests and website visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact and account details you give us when you sign up, contact us or book: name, email, phone number, company, address and date of birth.
- Identity verification for memberships and private offices: a photo ID and selfie, checked by our payment provider Stripe. We receive the result of the check, not a copy of your ID.
- Payment information, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank number; Stripe stores it under its own privacy policy.
- Your signed agreement and a record of the signature: date, time, IP address and agreement version.
- Building access records: the door code assigned to you and a log of entries made with it.
- Video recordings from security cameras at entrances and in common areas. There are no cameras in restrooms or inside private offices.
- Wi-Fi and network data such as device identifiers and connection times, used to keep the network secure.
- Website data: cookies and analytics (Google Analytics through MonsterInsights) showing pages visited, device and approximate location, and anything you type into forms on the site.
How we use it
- To set up and manage your membership or day pass, issue and manage your door code, and provide Wi-Fi, printing and room bookings.
- To process payments, automatic renewals, deposits and refunds, and to suspend access when a payment is overdue as described in your agreement.
- To send account, billing, access and safety messages by email and text.
- To keep the space safe, prevent fraud and enforce our agreements and house rules, including responding to payment disputes.
- To send news and offers, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve our website and services.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Work Social, such as Stripe (payments and ID checks), our website host, our email and text message providers, our door access system provider, and Google (analytics). We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale of the business.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we will text you about your account, door code, payments and safety. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts; account messages continue while your membership is active.
How long we keep it
We keep member records and signed agreements for as long as you are a member and for up to 5 years after, for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Door access logs are kept for up to 1 year. Camera footage is overwritten automatically, usually within 30 days, unless it is needed for an incident.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections on our website and limiting access to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, so please keep your door code and passwords private.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop marketing messages, by emailing worksocialpsl@gmail.com. We may keep some information where the law requires it or to complete a transaction. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
Our services are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be emailed to active members.
