Why we opened Work Social

Work Social opened in 2022 on SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. Its founder, Francesco Avitto, runs a local marketing agency and saw a gap in Port St. Lucie: small agencies, freelancers and solo-to-small-team entrepreneurs had nowhere to work that felt like a real office without the cost and commitment of one.

So he built one: a place where you can lock in, focus and get things done, meet clients in a professional setting, and work alongside like-minded people.

We’re a small, local team, and we’ve kept the place simple on purpose: good internet, a comfortable space, a door code that works 24/7, and rooms you can use for meetings, podcasts and photo shoots. No corporate check-in desk and no long sales process. You can sign up online and be working the same day.

Our members are freelancers, small agencies, remote employees, small business owners, creators and small teams. Some come in every day, some once a week. Everyone gets the same thing: a professional place to work that’s close to home.

How we run the space

Keep it easy. Clear prices on the website, online signup, and no surprise fees.
Keep it open. 24/7 access, because work doesn’t keep office hours.
Keep it professional. A space you’re comfortable bringing a client into.
Keep it social. It’s in the name. Working alone at home is lonely; working next to other people is better.
